Since installing Motion 5 and Total Adjustment for Final Cut Pro to my MacBook Pro my FCP X Keeps quitting unexpectedly almost immediately after opening - any ideas on how to solve this?

After installing Motion and Total Adjustment for Final Cut Pro to my MacBook Pro, creating a new adjustment layer using Total Adjustment and shifting the new layer to my project, my FCP X Keeps quitting unexpectedly almost immediately after opening - any ideas on how to solve this?

Note: When the new adjustment layer was placed in my project it showed as a blue screen instead of the expected 'invisible' layer - I don't know if this has anything to do with it.
