Q: Is it possible to select what I would like to transfer as I don't want everything transferred over from my former PC to my macbook pro

I am new to MacBook Pro from PC environment.  I want to transfer some of my PC files using the Migration Assistant, but not all . I want to move files, pix, contacts, but not my mail files as they are too large.  Can I select what I want to move using this utility?
