Why were all my saved passwords deleted/missing in Chrome?

Google Chrome Version: 26.0.1410.63 (Official Build 192696)

Operating System: Mac OS 10.6.8 Build 10K549

Extensions: Adblock Plus 1.4, Ghostery 4.1.0, Sprucemarks 2012.10.15.0, Weather Watcher Live 1.0.15

It is possible that using "Clear Browsing Data..." I accidentally selected "Clear saved passwords" but I don't think I did. Thanks for any suggestons.

MacBookPro6,2, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Sorry to have confused you but I was trying to indicate that when I used the "Clear Browsing Data..." command I may have accidentally selected "Clear saved passwords" but I have never done so intentionally.
