Q: what happened to my favorites during the transfer

I transferred my PC to my MacBookPro using the Migration Assistant and I can't find the favorites that I had on my PC. How do I look for them?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    Check System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if a new account was added (it usually is). Check in that account. If you find what you want, put it in the shared folder at the hard drive level so you can access it from your normal account.
