iPhoto won't shut down or force quit.Help I can't turn off my macbook.

Please help it's been like this all day.I tried everything.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), 13'' mid 2012

You must force quit iPhoto. To do this, press Alt, Command and Esc keys at the same time (or open  > Force Quit), choose iPhoto and choose Force Quit
