I was able to use my facetime without wifi, but now I can not....What happened and is there a way to get this service back
Same issue here. Wifi facetime is fine, 3G facetime will only show connecting, but never connect successfully.
Nothing changed on my end. I think it's an Sprint issue.
Facetime will only work on cellular when, 1) you have it turned on it settings, 2) the carrier supports it.
If you have it turned on in settings and it is activated, then I would contact the carrier and see what the problem might be at their end.
1. yes, it's turned on. 2. sprint does support it.
Contacted both Sprint and Apple, neither could do anything or find anything wrong with it.

User troubleshooting on the phone is restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as a new device.
