I can't sign in to YouTube on my iPod Touch

Yes I am also having the exact same problem! I have a 3rd generation ipod touch and all of a sudden, I can't sign into Youtube anymore! I actually did look at other threads with this same question, and I even went on my gmail account and made a application-specific password using the 2-step verification, and it is still not working! I keep getting a message saying, "Authentification Failed. The username or password you entered is incorrect." Somebody help, please???

I have the same problem few days before but solved.

If your google account has set up 2-step verification, switch it off and restart the youtube on your ipad/ipod/iphone devices. then u can log in.

I agree, because I done this a few weeks ago and that helps.

I tried removing it, but I couldn't because apparently it is a "stock" app that comes with the ipod...

I was actually never able to "restart" the youtube app, because its a "stock" app, and they can't be deleted or restarted. I actually set up the 2-step google verification according to the advice in the previous posts, and that wasn't working so I switched it back from the verification. Then I took the ipod to school, and used it there and it worked again...I think maybe it was a problem with my WiFi at home or something..? Honestly, I was not really sure what fixed it...sorry, that's probably not super helpful for you...what exactly is the problem with your youtube app on your ipod touch?? Can't sign in...??

Yeah, what it is is that I changed my youtube username on my Macbook Pro Laptop and now, whenever I try to sign in, it just says that my 'Authentification Failed,' and that the info is incorrect. I tried using my email, my old username, my other password, my new username, everything in every combo.
