my iphone chager not working

my iphone charger keeps messing up and saying this charger is not supported with accesory this really annoys me can u help

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.2

The problem is most likely with the dock connector on your phone. Try cleaning it...look closely for crud or a bent pin...it doesn't take much to produce the message you're getting.
