I uninstalled an app, but the icon is still in launch pad. How do I completely remove it.

Hi everyone,

I installed the Google Drive app for my Mac. I thought it was completely useless. So I right clicked 'show packaged items' and deleted everything in there. I got rid of it and emptied the trash. I rebooted. But the icon is still in Launchpad. How to I completely get rid of it?

Thanks.

PROBLEM SOLVED: Self taught, I found a way to get rid of the icon that was left in Launchpad. Simply drag it into the dock. Right click and go to options and select 'show in finder'. Once its revealed in finder drag it to the trash and empty the trash. PROBLEM SOLVED.
