yesterday i updated my phone with a video file which i think had virus in it. when i opened it, it waes not working so i deleated it. Today when I m playing the music the volume wheel as well as the scroll area is not appearing & no music is being played but when I am using the headphones its worrking as well as the scroll & wheel appeares

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
The scroll disappears in landscape mode. Try turning the phone round to portrait.
