website file uploading difficulties thru all 3rd party FTP on iMac

Hello,

I am at my wits end with this. I have 3 websites that I can't upload .php, .css. or any other files extension except .html (and .html files won't work if they are in a folder) without the FTP timing out. This is thru Dreamweaver (CS5), CyberDuck, Transmit, FileZilla, you name it. I can upload all files fine thru a host's online file manager (GoDaddy and BlueHost). And I seem to be able to upload fine thru my PC using FileZilla. However, the files I upload thru the PC do not show up on the remote server in Dreamweaver. They do show up in CyberDuck, and FileZilla on the Mac, and I can load the pages thru a browser, so I know they are there.

There must be a setting somewhere I am missing either in Dreamwaever or my Mac's wireless connection.

I am using a Belkin wireless router, but I do not believe that is the problem since things work on my PC laptop.

Anyone have any ideas?
