How can I allow my friend to use his iPhone as a remote for my Apple TV without giving him my homesharing password?

How can I allow my friend to use his iPhone as a remote for my Apple TV without giving him my homesharing password? Or for that matter, how can I allow the remote app on my friend's iDevice access to my itunes library without giving him my homesharing password?
