App store in Chinese language. How to change to English

Varjak's solution works. My phone was purchased in Hongkong, and the latest iOS update reverted the marketplace to Chinese. I.e. If your firmware thinks that you are from a different country, this is the solution.

Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region

This does not work for me. My safari language still in Chinese.

I've just fix the same problem - go to settings, iTunes and App Store, sign out and sign back in by putting your original details in- it recognises you are in the Uk solved my problem in less than 2 mins good luck x

I have the same issue and I am not able to swtich back the country, since all is displayed in chinese.😢
