Sync calendar events between iphone and pc

I am having trouble synching events entered on my iphone and having them appear in my calendar on my pc. Events entered on the pc sync OK with the iphone but not vise versa.

Which Outlook version are you using on your PC?

not using outlook. using icloud calendar
