Macbook Pro (Late 2011) Screen flicker/Jiggle

I have a Macbook Pro (Late 2011). I recently tried upgrading my Hard drive and now the screen flips and jigglys when it switches to the Discrete Graphics. Could it be that my Graphics Card is bad or could it be the Ram failing?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
