Itunes to MP3

I am trying to put songs from my itunes account on to an SD card, So I can play the music in my car.

I have a Volkswagon with a media &SD slot. The car manual states the music has to be in an MP3 format.

I have a Mac computer and I am having trouble figuring out how to "export" the music in the MP3 format.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😕

iMac, iOS 6.1.3

Niel,

So, the only way to transfer music from iTunes to a HDD in a vehicle is to convert each song, one at a time, to a universal format (e.g., MP3)?

That would be useless for someone who wants to copy several hundred songs - or more - and take advantage of the HDD space that is becoming common in vehicles. 😟

No. The much better way is to keep all your music in MP3 format in the first place. Make sure that all music you purchase, rip, or otherwise acquire is in MP3 format.

Then the songs can be used in almost any player, device, or program -- or car -- without conversion.
