Change Alias to Primary Email Address

Hi,

My main icloud logon ID is A@me.com, I also created an alias Email account B@me.com under this main account.

However, I changed my mind and would like to use B@me.com to logon icloud.com so that I can send and receive Email with B@me.com as a main account. Meanwhile, the main email account can be hooked up in 3-rd part Email client or linked with other Email.

However when I called the apple care, they said they were unable to do that. They used to be able to logon on icloud.com by alias account. Now they disable this function.

I also tried to delete my alias in icloud.com, and create a new icloud.com via iPad. However it's unable to do that because it said the Email address is already being used.

How can I use B@me.com as my main Email account, and Apple ID?

Thanks!

iCloud-OTHER, iOS 6.1.3

Just and idea, but I think even if just alias that b@me.com is being used by your account and you can't really register a new apple ID with it if your still using it as an alias. You might loose it forever but I think you would have to first delete the alias to be able to register a complete new Apple ID with b@me.com

It could also happen that it would take a while for Apple to free up that b@me.com for a new user to pick it!?

Just an idea..not sure if you want to risk it...
