Recommendations for SSD with G5 Quad?

I have heard some stuff about ssds not being good with os x 10.5.8, so I just wanted to get some tips/advice on which SSDs to look at. I am thinking about getting (now that I have the money 😝 ) a SATAII SSD for using as a boot drive, with this Seritek card http://firmtek.stores.yahoo.net/sata2me4e.html . Are there certain SSDs that don't play well with leopard, or this card?

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8), 2.5GHz G5 Quad, Quadro FX 4500
