Why can't I use twitter on my iPad and phone on my home wifi?

If I'm connected to my wifi at home, twitter will not work on phone and iPad. All of my other apps work just fine and twitter works off wifi and any other places I'm at that have wifi. It won't even work through safari. I've tried resetting my network settings and deleting the app. Can anyone help me?
