Accuweather for iphone is crashing on launch since last app update (v. 6.0.1)

I might try the following:
1. Quit the app and restart it. Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.
2. If that didn't help, quit the app again but before restarting it reset the device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
3. Still no joy, then try quitting the app, deleting the app, then reset the phone.
4. Some times a developer will produce an update to an app that has some bugs causing the app to malfunction. I would definitely contact the developer to let them know of your problem. When I have done this the developer provided some good info to get the app running properly or informed me that an update is in the works to correct the problem.
