I can't get wifi on my iphone even though my desktop computer can get the internet. I thought it was a problem with the modem so I got a new one ...but still the same problem (my computer gets internet but my iPhone cannot get wifi from it). PLEASE HELP

I was always able to get WiFi on my iPhone through my home computer. Then all of a sudden it went out (uses 3G network instead of WiFi). Sometimes it would connect back to WiFi for a few seconds then back to 3G. I then decided it was the modem so I got a new modem. Well, I have no problem getting internet on my home computer but cannot still get WiFi on my iPhone from my computer. What do I need to do - HELP!!
