2012 MBP 15" Retina : VERY laggy boot

Hi all.

Have a Retina Mid 2012, 15"

The boot speed is woeful. I've installed a new partition, undertaken internet recovery and dumped a new 10.8.3 install on there with the same results

PRAM reset, fsck undertaken

From power to Login Screen: 52 seconds

From power, into single user, fsck -fy done and exit to login screen: 51 seconds!

  • From exit to login screen is approx 8 seconds

FSCK reports NO issues.

Duplicating a 1.2GB movie takes 6 seconds, so there's no issue with the speed whilst in use

Ideas?

My work MBP 15" retina, mid 2012 takes approx 14 seconds from power to login screen, and that's with FileVault 2 and AV

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
