Use airplay in multiple wireless speakers zones

is there a way for iPod/iPad/iPhone to use airplay speakers in multiple wireless speakers zones (like PartyMode)?

(PartyMode)

on your Computer or Laptop you can shoose in iTunes different speakers zones at the same time.

But this is not possible on a iPod/iPad/iPhone. one ly one speaker zone is possible.

is there a any way to do it the same way as in iTunes on your computer ? ?

Really!?!?! That *****... I have speakers mounted in the ceiling in 4 rooms in my house and stream from my phone to all 4. They are connected to a reciever in my office that is connected to an airport express. I wanted to add a few other wireless speakers to my system in other rooms that didnt have speakers already. I was hoping that I could stream to them as well as my existing speakers from my phone. I hate having to use my mac. I like to just come home and continue to listen to pandora on my phone that I was using in my car.

At the time of your initial question (before iOS 7 was released) I was able to play to multiple devices and control their individual volumes using the Remote App (downloaded free from the App Store). The downside of course was that if you opened an App like Pandora or Spotify you could only play through one device at a time, but so long as the music was in iTunes on your iOS device or in iTunes on your computer, you could play through multiple speakers using the Remote App on an iOS device.

As you can imagine, when iTunes Radio was announced, I though this would be the answer to the Spotify and Pandora problem I was having. I was hoping to have a free radio software that I could play throughout all my airplay devices, controlling them all from my iOS device. Instead, Apple removed this exquisite functionality from the Remote App and now I can no longer control the music on my Apple TV, Apple Airport Express, and MacBook Pro from my iOS device.

I'm hoping this functionality was just something overlooked during the latest updates of iOS 7 and Mavericks and that it will be reinstated soon. It was a very useful and powerful functionally that motivated me to purchase more apple airplay friendly products. Now I wonder if there is a better non-Apple alternative.

The Airfoil Remote allows you to control what devices (airports) you stream to; from an iPad or iPhone controlling the Airfoil running on any Mac. It also allows you to select multi airports at once for whole house wireless sound and source i.e: iTunes, Pandora (Fury App) Google Chrome, Safari etc..etc..

I connect each Airport to a amplifier & speakers. Here is a link to the amp: http://amzn.com/B004JK8BDK

Get a good grade wireless router - I noticed the Apple AirPort Extremes are limited in distance.

Thank you for taking the time to explain Airfoil, I have used similar programs like Muse+Airfoil together in order to achieve what you have created, but I'm looking to control my Airplay devices without running any intermediate programs on the Mac desktop. (I already have an Airport Extreme and AppleTV hooked up to separate amplifiers and used to be able to achieve what you're saying without using any desktop software.)

Because Apple removed functionality from their Remote App, I'm looking for an iOS App that can communicate directly with Airport Extreme and with AppleTV while also allowing me to indepently control their master volumes.

I can stream to several Airplay receivers from the Remote app. There is a Single/Multiple toggle in the app that is synchronized with the iTunes setting. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something?

What would be nice would be the ability to select multiple outputs from the OS X audio menu without having to use Airfoil or similar and have the functionalify available from iOS.
