2006 Macbook Pro Crashes at Login

Ive had this computer for a while now and i realize that its way out of date. Im planning on getting a new MBP in about 2 months but until then i NEED this one to work. I was editing a video for this job im doing and the fans started speeding up then it just shut off. Now whenever i turn it back on it either crashes at the login screen or shortly after it logs in. Ive checked the HDD and its not corrupt. So other than that i have no idea whats going on with my computer. Please help.

Sorry about the late replay. Sounds like your laptop is overheating and needs a cleanout. You can get compress air in a small can from a photographic shop. Use it to blow in and around the keyboard then where the speekers are then the vents at the fans. If that dose not work then it's time to take it to some one who knows how to open it and clean it's insides out.
