Exporting to QuickTime Doesn't Save Audio Volume Setting

I'm using Keynote '09 and I have both a slideshow recording and an audio soundrack attached to a presentation. I changed the audio soundtrack volume so it's more like background music. Everything plays perfectly as a slideshow, but when I export the QuickTime, the audio volume comes over as the highest setting. I can no longer hear my recording voice since the music is too loud. How can I make sure the volume settings are exported?
