Q: AirPort Utility (v6.2) doesn't have the options shown above?!?!?

I am trying to create a roaming network and am having some issues. I have an AirPort Extreme that is my primary base station. I ran an ethernet cable to a second AirPort Extreme (since the primary is in the back of the house and most of the wireless usage is in the fornt). I basically want to do excatly what the article above shows you how to do, except that the instructions are not for the current version of AirPort utility.

Any help would be appreciated.

You will want to replace the current version of Airport Utility with AU 5.6.1.

If you have the newer "square" versions of the AirPort Extreme.....AirPort Utility 6.2 is far superior to any previous version of AirPort Utility as far as configuring a roaming network is concerned.

The process is so simple, it's literally automatic.

On the other hand, if you have the older "round" versions of the AirPort Extreme, Kappy has you on the right track as you will need to install AirPort Utility 5.6 to be able to administer the devices. Follow the instructions in the article that you reference to configure the AirPorts.

Please confirm on what versions of the AirPort Extreme that you have and also whether or not the "main" AirPort Extreme is already set up and working correctly.

I assume that you have already tested the Ethernet cable leading to the location of the second AirPort Extreme with a laptop to make sure that it is working correctly.  Is that correct?
