I cannot get playlist made from CD story to play. They say it cannot be found

I want to play audiobooks from a CD or from the itunes store or from Audible. I cannot seem to get them into the itunes and if I do when I try to play them I am told it cannot be played because it cannot be found. I am desperate. Please help.
