How do I use an old backed up iphone 4 to work my new 5? It didn't help when I tried to' as told, update my new phone. It made it so the backup wouldn't work on my itunes! I can't believe how not user friendly this is!!! frustration follows....😠

I should be fairly easy, you should have used backup your old iPhone 4 to your computer via iTunes, then connect your new iPhone 5 to your computer. Another option you could have used iCloud, take a look at this link, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2109
