I have a macbook pro 13 (2012) model and i want to know did the white apple remote a1156 will work with it. ?

The Mid 2012 MacBook Pro (except Retina display models) has got a IR port, so that Remote will work properly

I want to use it for keynote presentation. On my Mac i have installed Mountain Lion.
Do you have the remote? If you have one did you try it with that new Mac? Does it work?
No, i not have this remote.
A neat way to check if you need a battery is to turn on photobooth and point the remote at the screen. When you press the remote, it will flash a white light if the battery is good:)
