Ipad mini can't download app

Try these suggestions. Maybe one of them will work for you.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.

If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.

Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.

You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.

You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.

If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

Hi, i have done it as you said but it still cant download, the warranty in VietNam said my ipad mini is working fine, just change the DNS in wifi is ok . I go ome and change DNS but it just can download 2 days, it doesn't help me, my ipad mini still cant download apps, it keeps " Loading " mode . Help me please !!

Have you tried resetting your router? Sometimes that can kick start the download process. Unplug your router from power for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in again.

Yes , i did , i unplug my router from power for about 15 minute but it still can't download , in the other router is the same ( in my friend house ) ,this error has been few months ! I do all of the ways but still can't download , I live in VietNam and the warranty in VietNam is so bad, they dont help me to resolvedt this problem, they just said change the DNS , when I change it will download within 2 days, but the third day, my ipad cant download again. It keeps display the message "waiting" in the icon i down 😟 i will take a long time but still cant dowcload 😟

II'm sorry and I'm sure that is extremely frustrating for you, but I don't know what else to suggest now. The only other recommendation that I can make, would be to restore the iOS software. Back up the iPad first, restore the iOS and then restore the backup.

I wrote this response before there was a Podcast app and all of these downloads went through iTunes.

Launch iTunes on the iPad and see if there is a Downloads tab at the bottom right. If you see that tab, there is probably something still trying to download and it didn't finish. Tap the tab to go to the downloads and see what it is. The Downloads tab is only visible if you have something downloading.

Frankly, if you have been having this trouble for a few months, I really doubt if that is going to be the problem, but it can't hurt to look and see.
