Q: iPhone 4 on Verizon is not receiving government notifications

My iPhone 4 on Verizon isn't receiving government alerts, and I am wondering why this is. Other people within my area on the same company (Verizon) are getting these alerts. The option to enable the alerts also is not in my "Notifications" setting.

Man, it sure would be nice if Apple included the term iPhone4 *somewhere* in that KB article so that hapless iPhone4 users could find it via Google. Thanks for the link, wjosten.
