Q: My IPhoto says that my library is damaged/unreadable

My IPhoto says that my library is damaged or unreadable. I rebuilt the library, by pressing the command + option and then opening IPhoto and finally selecting rebuild library. This worked perfectly and I was able to get to all of my photos again! However, afterwards Iquit IPhoto, and when I went to reopen it I got the same pop up telling me that my library is damaged or unreadable. I then rebuilt it again but encountered the same problem after opening it on another occasion. Can someone tell me if I did something wrong when rebuilding it or how to just stop this cycle of having to constantly rebuild my library every time I want to access a photo?

Thanks,

Sydney
