Q: why does my computer keep telling me im not logged in since starting icloud acct?

I just signed up for icloud email acct and had to set a new password.  Now whenever I turn on computer, it tells me I am not logged in using correct password.  The new password works for icloud, but what do I do to get the two passwords compatible?

    If you changed the password for your iCloud ID you have to go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the new password.  When you sign out your  iclouddata will disappear from you Mac but not from iCloud.  It will reappear when you sign back in.  If you also have an iOS device using this account, you will need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new password there too.  (This only deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, not from iCloud.  Your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.)
