I am getting "Blocked plug-in" message instead of a video or graph on websites. It happened suddenly. I have rebooted as well as done all the updates. What is next?

Why am I all of a sudden getting a "Blocked plug-in" sign where there should be a video or a graph, on a website, which I have used regularly for years? It is not the website problem because others do not have the problem.
