Where is the iTunes Store menu?

I'm trying to authorize a computer using the directions in "Support." The directions say to go to the store and select "Authorize this computer" from the store menu. I've tried everything, but I don't get any menu when I am in the "store" screen. Help! I'm really new at this, so I don't know what else to do.

Use Alt-S to bring it up
