Why didn't my latest import go directly to Photostream? I've never had this problem before. I uploaded a disc from a photographer friend and imported them to my iphoto. They imported successfully, but never synced on other devices via photostream.

What version of iPhoto? of the OS? do they show in the PS on the Mac? Have you tried dragging them to the PS?

OS: 10.7.5
The photos are in iphoto on Macbook Pro, just not in Photostream as usual.

In the iPhoto preferences is the preference to add all new photos to PS checked?

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. See if that will jump start Photo Stream.

Yes, I know. If the import didn't go into PS then the workflow (but with the Automatic Upload checkbox selected) can jump start thje process.
Although I've checked all the above, my latest import did not go to photo stream. Any idea why?
