forgot password, wrong personal data

Hi,

my daughter has created her me-acccount (let's call this account "stupid.daughter@me.com" 🙂) and forwarded it to her gmail-account for some time already. Now I have purchased an iphone for her and she wants to use the iphone/itunes with her "stupid.daughter@me.com"-account, but has forgotten her password. Even worse: she has typed in her date of birth and all other data incorrectly. The only thing which works properly, is the email-forwarding from her "stupid.daughter@me.com" to her gmail-account.

If it was one daughter only, I wouldn't mind, but Miss unbelievable has helped out both other sisters, too. So right now I am in big trouble.

How can my daughter regain access to her @me.com -account? Can the new password be sent to the forwarding email-address?

Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Dave

The new password would normally be sent to the primary email address for the ID. If that address is her @me.com address it would probably be sent to that, and if email forwarding is in place, it would probably then be forwarded to her @gmail.com address. At least, in theory... Since that seems to be your only option, you might as well go to https://iforgot.apple.com/iForgot/iForgot.html and try.

If this doesn't work, you could try contacting iTunes store support. They frequently deal with Apple ID issues and may be able to help you. You can reach them here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
