    I am having this problem too, but i have cracks in my iPhone 4S and my warrenty is up on November 3rd 2013 and i do not know if they will fix my phone but i know one thing is that i am done with apple bec ause of its poor service and i am very disappointed with the quailty of these phones. I think its because of this new update iOS 7.0.2. It has been a mess i really can not wait until my upgrade comes next July

    I'm wondering why is it that some people get replacement 4S under warranty and their wifi remained working after the warranty exchange, while for others the replacement 4S had wifi disabled again after some time?

    I have no idea but I do know that I am not paying $200 for a new phone after the warranty is up. Also I know that I am done with apple.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!

     

    Slide your phone up (4S) and at the top you'll see

    Airplane mode, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc

     

    Just turn the WIFI on or off there.

    Who cares if it appears gray somewhere else...lol

    In my case it was resolved when i went to apple store, at that moment i still had a warranty. However i wonder how the earth that problem come only and only after update?

    Hi,

    Did u have to pay for the new phone?

     

    I had a 4s fail with regards Wi Fi and whilst it was only less than 1 year and one month old I had to pay for the replacment.

     

    Since then I have had a further 2 fail. Apple after multiple conversations and trips to their stores have inferred they have a problem with the 4s model and the recent update. However, and this is the crazy part, they tell it is my issue as I not them chose to upload the update.

    I am appalled at the contempt they have treated me and my family with.

     

    Extremly poor service and we can see why people are moving to Samsung.

    No i did not need to pay it, it was under one year. I think that i would needed to pay otherwise around 150 dollars for replacement phone

    Now i am here to. Muy wifi and BT gave up 3 days ago. Freezer trick worked but only for 15 min. Whent to Apple store and was told that only option is replacement for $199 + tax.

    What realy got me is that the warranty on replacement phone is only 90 days...!  even though it is a brand new phone it doesn't count as one. REALLY!!?

     

    What the **** Apple....?

     

    After so many people reporting this on going problem you (Apple) should recall this model or offer a free exchange for the phones effected by this problem  and NOT to chanrge $199

     

    Very disapointed!!
