The Apple Store sells Snow Leopard on a DVD.
Buy an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard and your PPC apps on it.
Switching boot drives at restart only requires you hold down the option key and picking it.
On some MacBook Pros, doing that requires using an older Mac to install the system onto an external drive and then running the 10.6.8 combo updater on that drive. Other MacBook Pros can't be booted from 10.6 at all but can run Mac OS X Server 10.6 in emulation.

Go to Apple Menu: About This Mac: More Info: Hardware Review
What is the Model Identifier of your MacBook Pro?
Some models cannot boot into Snow Leopard.
What PowerPC apps do you need to run in Mt. Lion?
Model Identifier MacbookPro9,2
PPC apps like for reviewer CDs.
thanks for the response, btw 🙂
thanks for the response.
i lived in a country where the nearest apple store is miles away from where i am now. i tried checking online apple store but all they got was tutorial books/cd for using snow leopard.
thanks for the response.
that is what i plan to do once i have the snow leopard OS.
unfortunately, they don't have it in the apple store (online).

i am not very techie about MacbookPro.
How to run the Mac OS X Server 10.6?
Do i have to buy/ download it?
Can you give me a link how to go about this procedure.
Thank you.
thanks for the link.
If you are outside of the USA & Canada, the Apple Store will not ship you Snow Leopard Server. You must have someone in the USA or Canada purchase it for you and then trans-ship it to you, which, of course, will increase the shipping costs.
Snow Leopard Server for $19.99 + sales tax & shipping costs at 1.800.MYAPPLE (1.800.692.7753) - Apple Part Number: MC588Z/A (telephone orders only).
Another alternative is to purchase Snow Leopard client and install that into Parallels 8:

This will give you an environment where you can run your PowerPC CDs.
