I would recommend to check your settings, deactivate and then activate your account again or sign out and then add your account back again.

Mar 14, 2014 9:23 PM in response to VeitMaierby kblaquiere,Open "Internet Accounts" in Preferences, click on iCloud to open your account preferences, deselect the mail option, and then reselect it a few seconds later and allow it to reset the settings and... Viola.
At least this is what worked for me.
