You won't. iTunes Match is just a service. It does not modify your ID3 tags or folder structure in any way.

As I posted above unselect the option in iTunes to "copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library" and all your folders and files will stay exactly where they are when you add them to iTunes.

Adding new music to iTunes from the iTunes Store or downloading matched tracks will be a different matter, though. Those tracks will be downloaded to whatever the default iTunes Media folder location is for Windows by default.

Hi Michael. Im not sure if you fully understand what im trying to achieve here.

What im after is Itunes Match mirroring my folder list exactly. I dont just want Itunes to give me a full ilst of my music, i want it to give me a directory and within that sub directorys of my music.

If i want to listen to some 80s i want to be able to go to the 80s folder and select tracks from there.

Does this make more sense?

iTunes Match does not work that way. It is a service that runs from iTunes. It scans the iTunes library, identifies any iTunes Store purchaes and "matches" or "uploads" the rest. The only way you interact with iTunes Match is either through iTunes or on an iOS device. The service does not make directories. If you want to listen to "some 80s" then you create a playlist in iTunes that contains the appropriate music and listen to it.
