My ipod touch is broke, so i did the whole applecare thingy and i got the package that apple sent me. With it, it included a "Decker tape pad". I have no idea what this is for, it didn't specify in the instructions.
It looks sort of like this
Contact Apple using the contact information they already provided you. I have never seen/heard of Decker tape. I suspect that it accidentally got included in your box.
This is convenience tape for people who don't have tape guns and might be tempted to use scotch tape or something to seal the return box. Use a finger or finger nail to pull off a sheet at the 'thick' end, place it on the closed box, then remove the inch of white paper covering what remains. Use as many sheets as are needed to properly seal the box.
It's a screwy product...I couldn't figure out how to get the **** little white strip off, so just left it on.
