Trackpad wrong/slow moves

Hey there,

The Trackpad on the 15inch Mac Book Pro Retina has been acting weird lately. When trying to go somewhere, it will not go there, but go in small "steps" there or in that direction. It has worked out perfectly fine till now, and restarting the computer or quitting programs or clicking the trackpad won't help.

Oh, and multi touch doesn't work either...

Anyone have an Idea how I can fix this?

Anyone know a shortcut how to normally shut down the computer?

thanks.

Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds to shut it down. While it's off, reset the SMC real quick to see if that will help you out.

SMC: Plug in the AC power cord, Hold down, Shift+Control+Option and Power Button for about 5 seconds, then release, computer should not turn on and the AC adaptor should flash Amber to Green. Then turn on the computer and see if it has worked!
