5th gen of course. It has a better microphone. (or even two for noise canceling)
The 5th gen. Better camera more space (if you decide to get the 8th or 16 gb), more ram so the games will perform better, battery life, come with new earpods (WAY better than the basic old ones).
The 5th Gen is so much better. I used to have the 4th Gen and now I have the 5th Gen and now I am SUPER glad that I updated! It is so much better and I love it!
I thought that the 5th generation version does not have the 8gb and the 16gb? So are you saying the lower the GB, the better the touch performs?

Oh yeah. Sorry about that. I would say, compared to when I had an iPod touch 4th Generation, that this audio is better. Speakers are much better on the iPod touch 5th Generation and the micophone is outstanding! I love mine so much and it is 1000 times better than ther 4th Generation. Biggest difference is also the camera is AWESOME! If you need help with more, always mail me! If you are getting the 5th Generation, I recommend Product Red. I got that because I don't really like the other colors.
