April 16/2013 I updated directly from itunes website. Using (64 bit) version The installation removed all itunes components but seemed to have skipped asking me any question about preferances.
After restarting and finding no trace of itunes.exe, I am at a loss of what to do next. was working fine.

Has anyone else had this issue? How were you able to fix it?

iPod classic, Windows 7, 160GB classic less than 2 yrs old.
