I just noticed that the status update for facebook via iOS is gone. The one that you pull down from top of the screen and a window like thing appears. Now only twitter update is available. I tried checking my widget thing and I couldn't find the solution. Or maybe apple removed it? Any ideas?

Check if Facebook is in your Notification Center. Go to Settings --> Notification Center

It is. Tried that part. I tried removing it from there and putting it back. Still, nothing.
You have the Facebook app installed right? Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Especially when you used Settings --> Facebook to install the app.
