Hi all, Does anyone know where i can purchase a copy of tiger 10.4.4 or higher?
I live in the united kingdom and apple uk dont have the disks like the us does.
I have a power mac g5 late 2005 with leopard installed and need to revert back to the shipped version of tiger 10.4.4 for my digi design 002 and protools 7 to work.Any suggestions would be wonderful..

Thanks Klaus1. I manage to speak to uk apple care and apparently the usa apple support will supply one if ask. but not the UK support.. typical eh?
Probably a question of whether they actually have it in stock. What they generally will supply (with that proviso, and for a small fee) are replacements of the install disks that originally came with your Mac, if you can quote the serial number of the the Mac.
I gave them everything they needed and was then passed from an 0800 free call to a 0944 charged number for some time only to be told they cant help ha ha... when i informed them the usa offer replacement tiger 10.4.4 there reply was we don't have that facility in Britain.. For other sources, do a Google search for MA453Z/A (10.4.6). Also look on eBay. Be sure & buy a retail version and not a model specific version (gray) (See http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1976068 Can I use another Mac's system restore disc on my Mac?.
After you install the base 10.4.x, update to the final Tiger version 10.4.11. Here's the link for the 10.4.11 combo update http://support.apple.com/kb/TA24901?viewlocale=en_US
