Q: iPhone 3S becomes negative

When I start up my iPhone it has the black background with the silver Apple logo. Part way through the boot process it becomes negative, white background with black Apple logo. Everything on the screen, background image, app icons, even inside the apps like Settings are all negative.

 

Any idea why this is happening and what can be done to fix it.

try clicking the Home button three times fast.
