I keep looking at my iphone4s, if there has been water damage, would the red light indicator be bright red? I am so not sure, it seems a very very weak red, it at all?

My Iphone4s will not charge or turn on. I read on the net that this could mean water damage. The red light indicator would that be bright red if this is the case? I keep looking at the connector point and it seems very very weak red even if it is so. Driving me crazy.

Red, any shade, light, dark, pink, partial color change is considered exposure. With regard to Warranty, it is always Genius decision at Apple. With regard to iPhone malfunction, this very weak red would indicate moisture of some degree has been there. Clean iPhone charging port very well with clean toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol.
