When I am using Logic Pro my midi keyboard is touch sensitive.

How do i get it to play the same pressure throughout?

As in, no matter how hard i touch the midi keyboard note i wish logic to record the same note pressure all the time.

Thanks

Open an Environment Window (cmd-8)

go to the Clicks & Ports Layer (dropdown top left of the Env. window)

From the New... menu, choose Transformer. (Doubleclick the object to open it, drag it at its name to move it about in the window). Set it up so it changes any velocity into a fixed value of choice:

Now cable this transformer anywhere between the SUM port of the Physical Input object and the Sequencer Input object.

😝 OK, you've actually not clarified it. 😁 It is still unclear 😕 if you mean velocity or aftertouch (aka pressure)

Velocity is how quick/forceful you play a key. You seem to mean this, judging from your second sentence.

Aftertouch (aka Channel Pressure, or, rarer, Polyphonic Pressure)* is the force with which you HOLD the keys down (that's why it is called after-touch). If you mean velocity, then my guide will do what you ask. Have you tried it?

* Most cheaper MIDI controllers and synths don't have aftertouch, and only some top enders have polyphonic aftertouch (=every key with individual AT-sensor)

Easy way .... Deselect all regions. In the inspector window(should say "midi thru" t the top) set the dynamics to "fixed". this will set all midi notes to velocity 64. Then set the velocity to adjust from 64. If you set it to +20 the result will be 84 (64 plus 20) Now all midi note will sound at velocity 84.

If you've already recorded a region, just select it first and then set the dynamics and velocity in the inspector.
